The highlight of this year’s Custom Xtreme is going to be the five winners of the Back Street Heroes Custom Bike Building Championship; a championship for the best custom bikes in the land, held over five rounds at some of the biggest custom events of the year. The idea behind it is that five awards are made at each of the rounds – awards for Best Chopper, Best Custom, Best New School Custom (cafe racer, street scrambler, etc.), Best Paint, and Best Streetfighter/Engineering – and then all the winners are put into a voting system where the readers of Back Street Heroes can pick their favourite in each category.
The feature will be in the issues that go on sale in September and October, and the winners in each category will go on display at Custom Xtreme at Motorcycle Live! As well as that we will also have all three of the Back Street Heroes project bikes; the Yamaha XSR900 street mutant, the Herald 250 street tracker, and the GSX-R rat-rod. All of them have been built in a series of feature throughout the year, and been out at events around the country wowing the crowds. And there’ll also be a selection of the bikes that have been on the cover of the magazine throughout 2016 – more on that a little closer to the time.
Back Street Heroes is the UK’s biggest selling and best custom bike magazine.
