Ducati UK bring to Motorcycle live five new models and the expansion of two of their core model families, Monster and Superbike.
The Monster 1200 and 1200 S incorporate major changes, with its style becoming more compact and purposeful to re-emphasize the original, iconic Monster spirit. It features a heavily revised Testastretta engine which adds power while at the same time giving much improved power delivery. Electronics are also advanced with the incorporation of an Inertial Measurement Unit, which permits the addition of Bosch Cornering ABS and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC).
The brand-new Monster 797 captures entry riders new to the world of Ducati, with easy-to-use performance coming from its 803 cc air-cooled engine, stiff trellis frame, and Brembo brakes with standard Bosch ABS.
The Superbike family welcomes the addition of the flagship 1299 Superleggera, a statement of the ultimate in sporting technology. Built around an extreme 215 hp Superquadro engine, it is the world’s first and only production motorcycle with a full carbon structure. A limited-edition dream bike of 500 in total.
Another addition to the Ducati range is the new Multistrada 950, a highly capable, smaller capacity adventure-touring bike with comfort and commanding ergonomics of the larger Multistrada 1200, dynamic handling and the torquey kick of a 937 cc Testastretta engine. The Multistrada 1200 and 1200 Enduro will also be on display including the Multistrada 1200 Enduro globetrotter bike which has been travelling around the world as part of the company’s 90th anniversary.
An entire new family for the Ducati brand is the Supersport family which is designed SuperSport as an access point to Ducati performance that is sporty without being extreme. It features everyday-comfortable ergonomics, a punchy 937 cc Testastretta engine, and capable sport handling and componentry packaged in a sleek and attractive design.
As well as these new additions to the range, many of the bikes launched at last year’s motorcycle live will be on display including the XDiavel, Hypermotard 939, Monster R and other current models such as Monster 821, Diavel, 1299 Panigale and 959 Panigale.
As usual there will be a Ducati store where visitors will be able to buy Ducati apparel and gifts.
